In addition, there is a management services fee of 5% of the net sales and a national marketing fee of 4% of net sales. You will also be responsible for the rent, rates and utility costs of the store for the term of the franchise agreement.

No. Most of our franchisees did not have previous catering or retailing experience. The most successful franchisees are entrepreneurial, owner/operators and have excellent people skills.

In an average new store 20 jobs are created, split 40% full-time, 60% part-time. We seek, where possible, to operate standard opening hours for all of our stores and the typical closing time is 2300hrs. There are, of course, some units that operate different hours, but these are usually in non-residential areas where other outlets are also trading after 2300hrs.

Papa Johns has over 450 stores in the UK and many of our operators run multi-site business and earn a comfortable living from those stores. Individual earnings are dependent on many factors such as overheads and operating costs of the individual stores. There is no guarantee of success and we recommend that you seek independent legal advice in relation to the franchise agreement and seek independent financial advice in relation to the Papa Johns franchise opportunity.

No. Our franchisees are given enough autonomy to ensure they operate in a way that suits their local area but they must still adhere to strict quality, safety and image regulations that Papa Johns enforces through store visits and frequent appraisals. We have the right to remove a store from a franchisee who we believe to be a sub-standard operator and have no hesitation in doing so when required.

Upon receipt of your completed application form you will be called by Phil Gaffer our Franchise Sales Business Development Manager who will explain the whole recruitment process in more detail. Take a look at our Franchise Process, or get going by completing our Franchise Enquiry Form.
