Burnley Football Club is pleased to announce an exciting new partnership with global pizza chain, Papa John’s Pizza.

The Premier League side has introduced a new mobile unit to serve up Papa John’s top-quality pizzas to supporters attending home matches at Turf Moor.

Stuart Hunt, director of Burnley Football Club explains: “As president of PJ Restaurants, together with my valued team, we own and operate 68 Papa John’s franchised stores in the USA.

“As a partner in ALK Capital, I took over as a director of Burnley Football Club in January. One of our immediate goals is to improve the whole fan zone experience and we are making progress. For us now to introduce Papa John’s to the football club was a natural choice.

“Pizza brings people together and adding a hot quality food offering in the form of Papa John’s known for its “BETTER INGREDIENTS. BETTER PIZZA.” concept where  only

the freshest, finest ingredients are used for a better flavour, means everyone can now enjoy their favourite pizza to make the most of matchdays.

“We kicked-off the launch of the Papa John’s pizza trailer at the end of October when we played Tottenham Hotspur in the Carabao Cup. The reception from fans was certainly a winning one!

“We will now test the catering unit in different locations around the grounds to find out what works best for fans hungry to order the treat of Papa John’s pizza to enjoy with friends and family as part of their day out.”

Amit Pancholi UK director of business development, Papa John’s UK said: “We are excited to be working with the team at Burnley Football Club. As well as providing a new revenue stream which can be re-invested back into the club, offering the facility to serve-up Papa John’s pizza adds to the fun and overall experience for fans watching the game.
